Thrift Shop Volunteers

Resources & Links

The Corvallis Community Thrift Shop is a thriving business run 100% by volunteers. Our dedicated volunteers make it all possible, and we welcome new volunteers to our team.

Our volunteers are critical for the success of the Thrift Shop!

When the Thrift Shop is open on Wednesday and Saturday there are four to five volunteers who run the cash register, assist customers with purchases and accept donations from donors. The customer assistants also help clean areas as needed and put out items that the donation volunteers have priced. Volunteers on non open days of Monday and Thursday price, clean, test, and stock items on the sales floor. Volunteers can also take items home to clean, test and repair.

The Volunteer Handbook has more information on all the volunteer activities.
