We're celebrating over 75 years of helping our community!

The Corvallis Community Thrift Shop’s history began with the OSU Folk Club, which was established as a social and service club on October 29, 1908 by OSU faculty women and faculty wives.

The Thrift Shop was established by the Folk Club in 1949 to give profits from sales to community organizations. Learn more about our history, what we’re doing for our community and how you can help!

The Thrift Shop welcomes you to the Corvallis community.

Whether you are new to Corvallis, or are a long time resident, volunteering at the Corvallis Community Thrift Shop is a great way to meet other civic minded people. By volunteering, you will be giving back to your community, make new friends, and have the flexibility to volunteer as your schedule allows. We’d love to have you join us in our mission of providing scholarships to students and funding grants for the community.

The flexible hours also provide an excellent opportunity for students who are interested in obtaining hours for community service. Young people are very welcome!

Our volunteers look forward to welcoming you!

This wonderful group of 8 Key Club members from Corvallis High School volunteered their first day of Spring Break at the Corvallis Community Thrift Shop. They helped transition the clothing in the shop from winter to spring/summer wear. Thanks also to their advisor, Jack Peters--not pictured.
